Love Poems – Hues of Your Heart – Spirit Message from a Poet

10th May, 2020

Every day, I write from spirit and allow spirit to guide me to bring messages of love to others. In this Love Poems series, I am going to bring you inside the process of how I write messages, receive inspiration, and allow the energy of creation to flow through me.

Hues of Your Heart

Spirit Messages from a Poet

I first began to write poetry when I was around 10 years old. I am not sure what drew me to poetry or writing but maybe it was that sense of releasing from my physical space and instead stepping into my imagination and into other worlds. I didn’t keep a lot of my earlier work, but I am sure it was reflecting what I was going through at the time as a young kid.

Since that time, my perspective has changed quite a bit as I have experienced more of the ups and downs of life and traveled through different experiences even stronger.  Now, I see everything in my world as love energy. I sometimes feel that I woke up from a coma and finally saw the world for the first time, felt love for the first time.

Before I wrote Hues of Your Heart, I was just beginning to develop a stronger connection to spirit and learning how to trust that I was receiving messages from the other side. One day, I was sitting at my computer about to write a new poem, when I felt a presence around me. I felt that the energy was of an author who had passed and was fond of poetry.

My inner knowing knew instantly that it was Emily Dickinson. I almost laughed a little because I had this weird fascination with her poetry in high school. Now, here she was making her presence known, bringing words for me to deliver to others.

What followed was the poem, Hues of Your Heart. It is her message for you to know that we are all connected through the energy of love in our hearts and that there are many colors of the rainbow which reflect this love. It’s a reminder for us to allow our lights to shine in all circumstances and to show the colors of our soul, the real version of who we are.

We are all beautiful paintings and as we allow our hearts to come alive, it is like we are allowing others to see those beautiful colors, that painting of our soul.

How do we allow ourselves to feel safe enough to open our hearts and show this beauty of who we are? Ask spirit to guide you and show you the gentle ways in which you may move into this energy. Life is a series of steps, adventures, times to move forward and times to pause, and through it all you grow closer to understanding the purity of the energy which flows through your heart.

Emily Dickinson wishes for you to know that she held too much sadness in her heart at times, but she knew that was part of her journey in life. She tapped into that part of her heart which wished to release the sadness and then she created masterpieces, she wrote from her heart.

In her writing, she let everything come out in the way that she was feeling the energy. She did not worry about whether it was right or wrong, she simply let it be free. She sends you love on your journey in this life, and to know that it is okay to release, to surrender, and to accept the love which you deserve.
